Letter builder

What do I write, and to whom?

Six letters, built from your own answers in your own words: a repair request with a date, a deposit return request with your bank details, a reply to a rent review notice, a request to the RTB about the landlord's size, a 'please confirm in writing' letter after a verbal demand, and your own notice of termination. Free, and nothing is stored.

The letters are generic. The builder never drafts an RTB dispute application and never drafts anything for a landlord.

Information, not advice. This tool applies the published rules to the dates and figures you enter. It does not say whether a notice is valid, whether a deduction is lawful or what the RTB will decide: those turn on facts and evidence the RTB weighs. Everything runs in your browser and nothing you type is sent to this site. Last checked 2026-10-27. TenantWise is an independent site, not connected with the Residential Tenancies Board, Revenue, the Department of Housing, any local authority, Threshold or any landlord body. It is not a solicitor, a letting agent, a landlord, a deposit scheme or an advice service. It covers the Republic of Ireland only. Before you act, ring Threshold, which is free, or talk to a solicitor.
