This site is for tenants

TenantWise is written for the person paying the rent. Every tool and guide takes the tenant’s side, and nothing here helps a landlord end a tenancy, set a rent or draft a notice. If you are a landlord, the places below are the right ones.

The RTB’s own guidance

The Residential Tenancies Board publishes the law, the forms and the sample notices for landlords, and registers tenancies: rtb.ie. Its rent calculator is the official figure for a review, and its register is where a tenancy is registered each year.

Representative bodies

The Irish Property Owners’ Association (ipoa.ie) represents private landlords and offers its members guidance.

A solicitor

The Law Society’s find a solicitor service lists every solicitor in Ireland. TenantWise’s partner firm acts for tenants and does not take landlord enquiries through this site.
