Privacy

TenantWise is built so that very little about you reaches it at all. This page says exactly what is collected, why, and how to have it removed. The data controller is Codable Labs Ltd, Ireland.

The tools

Every tool runs in your browser. The dates, rents and answers you type are never sent to this site’s servers, and no tool asks for your name. Your tenancy start date and county live in your browser’s session storage; the tenancy file and the checklists live in its local storage; the letter builder’s output is never stored. If you copy a share link, your inputs are encoded in the part of the address after the # sign, which browsers do not send to any server and which analytics never records.

Analytics

The site uses Plausible, a cookieless analytics service, to count page views and a small set of events such as “enquiry sent” and “tool result shown”. No personal data, no tool inputs and no URL fragments are recorded, and there are no custom events on the arrears or emergency pages. No consent banner is needed because no cookies are set and no identifier is stored on your device.

The enquiry form

If you ask a solicitor, the form collects your name, email address and phone number, what has happened (one of seven routes), when it is happening, and a short note only if you write one (600 characters at most; the form asks you not to include your PPSN or bank details). Nothing from a tool is collected.

With your explicit consent, these details are stored with a reference number and passed to one partner solicitor firm, regulated by the Law Society of Ireland, which contacts you directly. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. The consent wording is versioned and the version is stored with your enquiry.

To stop abuse, the form may use Cloudflare Turnstile (which may set a short-lived token in your browser for that check) and we keep a one-way hash of your network address for 24 hours to cap the number of enquiries from one connection. The hash cannot be turned back into your address and is not shared.

The reminders

If you set a date reminder from the tenancy file, we keep your email address, which date it is, and the date, and send one email with an unsubscribe link. The record is deleted a month after the date passes. The file itself never leaves your browser.

Retention and your rights

Enquiries are kept for twelve months and then deleted. You can ask for your enquiry to be deleted sooner, for a copy of what is held, or for a correction, by writing to privacy@tenantwise.ie with your reference number. You can complain to the Data Protection Commission if you are unhappy with how your data has been handled.

Hosting

The site is served from Cloudflare’s network. Enquiries and reminders are stored in a database hosted by Supabase in the EU and emails go through Resend. These providers process data on Codable Labs Ltd’s instructions only.
